It was normally one of the safest places on earth. But not today. A cold-blooded murder outside the FBI Headquarters in Washington DC ends with the killer turning the gun on himself. Among the many witnesses is Amos Decker – the FBI’s most unique special agent. Having suffered a head injury years ago that left him with the gift of a remarkable memory, he forgets nothing and sees what others miss. The killer was a family man. A loving husband and the father of four grown daughters. So what was it that made him pull the trigger ? Baffled by what appears to be a senseless killing, Decker is thrust into the investigation. What he uncovers is a current plot of impending destruction that will send the world reeling, placing Decker and his team firmly in the cross hairs.
